What is the best way for a webmaster to work from home?

I am a webmaster capable of managing websites, creating email campaigns and producing audio and video for playback on the internet. Exploring for undiscovered ways to make money at home with skills.

Some things that help me are always have business cards or some other type of media on you at all times. Even if the person(s) don’t sound like they are interested then try to get discussion started on something else you are mutually interested in.
Do some free work for companies with good name, small or large. Build the portfolio if you don’t already have one. If you work alone, do a good job, you’ll get more work than you can handle by doing this.
Work on remote access skills if you aren’t familiar with this already, e.g. Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, SSH, pcAnywhere, VNC, VPN, etc. Be prepared to work for anyone and whatever remote access they can give you.
